We Visited IIT Hyderabad — Info Session & Call for Collaborators

Today our team visited IIT Hyderabad (IITH) to host an information session. We presented our mission, walked through the pathway that moves students from training in India to working in Japan, and invited collaborators who want to help us scale Oyakata Skill Training Centre.

What We Presented
Our pathway: Japanese for work, hands-on factory/construction basics, discipline, and interview prep.
Student outcomes: Example roles, typical package ranges (no guarantees), and what employers value most.
Support model: Dorm & meals included, loan-free training; employer introductions after you pass.
Ways to collaborate: capstone projects, tech/ops internships, research partnerships, and campus ambassadors.

Q&A Highlights
Purpose & policy: Students asked sharp questions about our mission, screening for punctuality, and how we keep training aligned with employer needs.
Career paths: Interest in manufacturing, construction, and logistics roles in Japan—and how engineering students can map skills to real workplaces.
Next steps: Many requested WhatsApp updates to join upcoming briefings and campus visits.
“We build people, not just jobs.”
Skills matter—but habits (zero tardiness, keeping promises, daily practice) make the difference.
Thank You, IITH
We’re grateful for the warm welcome and the thoughtful discussion. If you’re a student, researcher, or faculty member who wants to co-create pilots, curriculum, or evaluation tools, let’s talk.
